THREE iconic British motors are expected to sell at an auction next month.
Classic car lovers are gearing up for a special car auction at Tatton Parl where some of the most iconic British motors will be up for sale.
A Bentley’s 2005 Flying Spur is set to appear at the auction.
Expected to sell anywhere between £14,000 to £18,000, this saloon car will surely be a fan favourite.
It has just over 26,000 miles and is reportedly in great condition.
Under the hood lies a 6-litre, W12 powerplant generating 552bhp.
The iconic British car can accelerate from 0-62 in just 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 194mph.
With its four-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension it is muscular, powerful and seriously fast.
A 1971 Rolls Royce is estimated to sell for a whopping £50,000 to £60,000 at the classic car auction.
The retro car maintains much of its originality and is arguably one of the luxury brand’s most stylish models, according to Iconic Auctioneers.
It has a navy blue leather interior with Park Ward floor mats covered in lambswool.
Although it hasn’t been driven for a while, it was stored in a climate-controlled “motor house” and was kept in good condition.
It drives very nicely with motorists expected to jump at the opportunity to get behind the wheel, the Iconic Auctioneers claim.
The other classic car is the 1972 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
It comes with an up-to-date service history with and recent expenditure of £10,000 to £12,000.
With just 75,400 miles on the metre, it will arrive at the auction in great condition.
This iconic motor is powered by Rolls-Royce’s 6.75-litre V8, producing 220bhp.
It has also recently had its brakes upgraded and has a new battery and new callipers installed.
It comes after an iconic British classic car is up for sale at a bargain price with 39 miles on the clock.
And an iconic British classic car rescued by Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer is up for auction.
