Tube Investments shares drop 5.42% as Sensex falls



Shares of Tube Investments of India Ltd. traded 5.42 per cent down at Rs 4279.35 at 02:10PM (IST) on Thursday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 100.44 points to 79824.33. The scrip had closed at Rs 4524.75 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 4666.0 and Rs 2729.1, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:10PM (IST) stood at 02:10PM shares with turnover at Rs 24.19 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 69.09 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 61.99 per share and 14.15 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
