Bluestone Resort, which often beats places like Center Parcs for being the best in the UK, is running its Christmasland events again this year.

Starting next month, guests staying at the park will have a number of festive activities to enjoy.

The Cloud Theatre will have Christmas films with hot chocolate and popcorn, while kids can head to Santa’s Workshop and Rudolph’s Breakfast Barn to meet all the characters.

The Snow Globe is transforming the adventure dome into a Christmassy setting, while the Blue Lagoon will be turned into the Elf Lagoon Swimming Pool.

Kids can join Santa on his VR Sleigh Ride, or head to Polar Postal to send letters to Santa.

The village park will become the Reinder Village thanks to Rudolph’s ‘magic’ with festive decorations throughout, along with The Toy Factory and Christmas mini-market with seasonal snacks.

Christmasland runs from November 6, 2023 to January 4, 2024.

Tickets to the park during the festive season start from £18pp a night, saving 35 per cent.

Book a three or four-night stay between November 6 and December 17 and get lots of the festive activities included in the ticket prices.

The park explains on its website: “On arrival at Bluestone, guests are transported into a world of winter wonderment and magic, greeted by twinkling trees and elves who will hand out a ‘Christmasland Passport’.

“A jam-packed itinerary of the festive fun to make the most of during the stay, including a Polar Postal envelope, ready for the all-important letter to Santa.”

Sun Travel recently visited Bluestone Resort for a family stay.

The 500-acre Welsh resort has a huge waterpark, activity dome as well as holiday lodges and apartments.

Other activities include kayaking, paddleboarding, axe throwing and archery as well as science workshops and mermaid schools.

The Well Spa for adults has steam rooms, sauna and pools too.

Parkdean has also launched a number of holiday-themed stays this Christmas.

Starting from £24pp a night, you can choose from ‘Winter Wonderland’, ‘Christmas Day’ and ‘New Year’s Eve’ stays.

They run from December 1 to December 30, with three, four and five-night stays, with deposits just £25.
