According to a press release, exhibitors and visitors attending the International Trade Show got reserved accommodations in Greater Noida, resulting in a display of “fully booked” boards in all the major hotels. This led to demands of rooms in hotels based in Noida and Delhi, the release, issued by the state government, further claimed.
Most exhibitors were happy with the success of the trade show, organized by the Yogi government in Greater Noida. The release claimed that the event brought good business opportunities for the exhibitors who participated in the show. The businessmen, who are associated with the hotel sectors, are hopeful that they would be benefitted by the conducive atmosphere for the trade and tourism available in the state in the current regime, according to the release.
India Expo Mart, located in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, has merged as a landmark and a key venue for major events in the state. It was the second edition of the five-day International Trade Show, organized by the Yogi government, beginning from September 25.
The five-day event was inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in presence of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other state ministers. According to the release, the hotel industries, based in Greater Noida, left no stone unturned in making proper arrangements to prove better accommodation to the exhibitors as well the buyers who came from different parts of the country, besides abroad. The release further claimed that it was a good experience for the hotel sectors in view of the high demand for the accommodation of their guests.
Quoting one Pallavi Sharma who had set up own stall at the UPITS, the release said she was happy after securing orders for her products from countries like Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. She hopes that the entrepreneurs like her will get fresh opportunities for expanding their business in the state in future. The UP International Trade Show has paved the way for small business owners to engage not only with different cities in India, but also with international markets.Firozabad-based glassware entrepreneur Pratish Kumar was happy because of the success of his product to attract not only domestic buyers, but also international buyers to his stall. Similar views were expressed by entrepreneurs Gurinder Kaur from Greater Noida, Viresh Goswami, a businessman from Moradabad, and Dilshad Ali, who participated in the show as exhibitors.
