The high school girls basketball season is nearing the halfway point.

Plenty of the South Shore’s top players have already made their mark, from Cohasset’s Sarah Chenette becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer, Woodward’s Nicole Leung scoring all but two of her team’s points in a win and Notre Dame Academy’s Ava Orlando (among others) starring on both sides of the ball.

So, cast your vote for our Midseason Player of the Year. From sharp-shooting wings to flashy facilitators and paint protectors, there’s no shortage of strong candidates. Here are 14 to choose from.
