The 44th annual Riverside Community “Messiah” Sing-in is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 10, at the Riverside Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Riverside Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the venue for the 44th annual Riverside Community “Messiah” Sing-in, scheduled Dec. 10, 2023. (Via Google Maps)Those who attend may listen or join in singing nine choruses from Handel’s “Messiah,” aided by members of the Raincross Master Chorale and accompanied by the California Messiah Symphony, according to a news release. Vocal scores will be available on loan.

Directing the performance is Ken Rasner, former music department chairman at Ramona High School. Clay Christiansen, organist emeritus of the Salt Lake Tabernacle, will play the 57-rank Henry Pilcher and Sons pipe organ.

Guest soloists are Jannene Swart, soprano; Barbara Dellenbach, alto; Morris F. Maduro, tenor; and Traivon Williams, bass.

The Riverside Stake Center is at 4375 Jackson St. Admission is free.
