For Welcome to Derry, the creative brains behind the It films are getting back together. Andy Muschetti is reportedly set to direct four of the nine episodes. Together with his sister Barbara, Muschetti will also work as an executive producer. Ideas from Jason Fuchs, Barabara Muschetti, and Andy Muschetti served as the foundation for the narrative.Jason Fuchs is penning the first episode’s teleplay. He also co-produced It Chapter Two. In addition, Fuchs and Brad Celeb Kane will co-showrun the program. Roy Lee and Dan Lin are the other two gifted producers that are joining the group.

Release Date

The original plan was for the series to make its premiere in October 2024. However, HBO and Max CEO Basey Bloys revealed that it would now be released in 2025 owing to delays caused by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
