When is the FA Cup second round draw? Start time, ball numbers and how to watch

The FA Cup second round draw will take place today following an intense weekend of football up and down the country.

A total of eighty sides have been, or will be, in action over the course of the weekend, including National League side Aldershot, who stunned League Two outfit Swindon with a thrilling 7-4 victory at The County Ground.

Ramsgate, of the eighth tier, came from behind to register a 2-1 win over Woking, whilst National League North side Scarborough were on the cusp of knocking out Forest Green Rovers before a stoppage time equaliser cruelly broke their hearts.

So, exactly what time does the draw start today, how can you watch it on TV and what are those all-important ball numbers?

When is the FA Cup second round draw?

The draw for the second round of the FA Cup 2023/24 will take place today (Sunday, November 5) at 2.30pm.

How to watch the FA Cup second round draw on TV

The draw will be available to watch live on ITV1, which is being held following the conclusion of the televised game between Chesterfield and Portsmouth.

A live stream will also be available to watch on ITVX.

FA Cup second round draw ball numbers

A total of 40 places are up for grabs in the second round, with ten further first round fixtures still to be played.

The victorious second round clubs will each pocket £67,000 in prize money, and will advance to the third round where they will be joined from teams in the Premier League and Championship.
