BUDGET flyer Wizz Air has been slammed as the worst short-haul airline operating in Britain.
The Hungarian carrier got a total of just 48 per cent for customer service and value for money in an annual consumer poll.
Ryanair (52 per cent), Eurowings (53 per cent) and BA (56 per cent) finished in the bottom four.
Jet2 was on top with a score of 80 per cent.
Rory Boland, editor of Which? Travel, said: “Avoid Wizz Air, as its poor record on customer care means you’re likely to be left high and dry in the event your flight is delayed or cancelled.”
It comes after Wizz was named worst for delays last year. Just 56 per cent of flights arrived on time, CAA figures showed.
A WizzAir spokesperson said: “At Wizz Air, we do everything possible to ensure that passengers reach their destination on time and with minimal delay.
“We invest heavily into time performance, which is key to our ultra-efficient business model.
“A number of issues affecting the global aviation industry contributed to a worse time performance in 2022.”
