PT. Indosat Tbk, the Indonesia-based telecommunications company, recently announced the appointment of Yohannes Glen as its Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Security.
Yohannes has more than 20 years of information security experience by managing and setting up a CISO office for a foreign bank, state owned bank, largest Indonesia telco, digital bank, and Indonesia’s biggest crypto exchanger.
He holds a wide and broad cybersecurity practice for incident handling, protecting company information and assets from any unauthorised access. and violations by monitoring, detecting, responding and mitigating actions.
Prior to this, Yohannes was the VP head of IT security at Indonesia Digital Asset Exchange for nearly two years. He has also headed IT security for various other big firms in the region such as Bank Jago, Telkomsel, DBS Bank, and Bank Negara Indonesia.
He started his career in IT project management in firms like Mitra Integrasi Informatika, and has also worked at HSBC in various roles for more than six years.
